Why Currently Pouring is different from the Tasting Menu
The build-your-own Tasting Menu draws from a permanent, curated pool of inks chosen to teach core ink properties — it's always there, and it's designed to be a reliable reference point. Currently Pouring is the opposite kind of product: a fixed, changing snapshot of what's new and interesting in the ink world right now. Every quarter we choose four inks that didn't exist, or weren't widely available, the quarter before — often pulled from limited seasonal releases, new small-batch makers, or colours that sell out before they ever reach a permanent range. If an ink in Currently Pouring is popular enough and stays in continuous production, it may eventually graduate into the permanent Tasting Menu pool — but Currently Pouring itself is never a repeat of last quarter.
This season — Summer 2026
This quarter's Currently Pouring kit is built around the individual 50ml release of the Diamine Inkvent 2025 Teal Edition — inks that were exclusive to last December's 25-day advent calendar and are only now becoming available as standalone bottles. We've picked four that best represent the range Diamine introduced this year, including their new waterproof pigment formulation, which hasn't appeared in a Diamine seasonal release before.

Who is it For?
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUSTIONS (FAQ)
Can I choose which 4 inks are in Currently Pouring?
No — Currently Pouring is a fixed selection chosen by Inkwell each quarter, unlike the build-your-own Tasting Menu. This is intentional: it's designed to showcase new and limited-run inks you might not have come across yet, curated as a set rather than picked individually.
What's in this quarter's kit?
This season's Currently Pouring features four inks from the Diamine Inkvent 2025 Teal Edition, newly available as individual 50ml bottles: Carousel (waterproof pigment), Celestial Skies (shimmer and sheen teal), Molten Basalt (dense near-black), and Fir & Fog (muted green). These were exclusive to last December's advent calendar and are only now reaching standalone release.
Will these exact 4 inks come back next quarter?
No — Currently Pouring changes completely every quarter. Once this season's stock sells through, the listing will be refreshed with a new set of four. If a particular ink proves popular enough to stay in continuous production, it may eventually be added to the permanent Tasting Menu eligible pool instead, with a vial available there indefinitely.
Is this the same packaging as the Tasting Menu?
Yes — same 3.5ml vials, same presentation box, same £12.50 price. The only difference is that Currently Pouring's four inks are fixed by us each quarter, while the Tasting Menu lets you choose your own four from the permanent eligible range.
