Currently Pouring is Inkwell's quarterly tasting kit — four inks in 3.5ml vials, chosen fresh each season and always including something new or limited-run that isn't in our permanent Tasting Menu range. Unlike the build-your-own Tasting Menu, this selection is fixed by us each quarter, so it changes completely every three months and won't be repeated once it's gone. £12.50, same presentation box as the Tasting Menu.

Packaging: 

We know art supplies are fragile. All professional pair and boards are shipped in reinforced rigid flat mailers. No tubes, no folds, no crushed corners. 


Order Processing Times: 

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days - we always aim to dispatch all “in-Stock’ items within 24 hours..

Note: Orders placed after 2 PM GMT on Fridays will be processed the following Monday.

International Shipping: 

We ship globally. Costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Please note that customers are responsible for any local customs duties or taxes.

Order Tracking: 

You will receive a tracking link via email the moment your tools leave our studio. 
Returns

30-Day Change of Mind: 

We offer a 30-day return window (exceeding the UK legal minimum of 14 days). Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in "as-new" condition.

Faulty Goods: 

In the rare event of a defect, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement within 30 days. We will cover all return shipping costs for faulty items.

Defective Nibs: 

Occasionally, a pen may arrive dry or a nib maybe scratchy. Contact us within 7 days of purchase with a photo/video of the issue and we will send a replacement immediately.

Exclusions:

Due to the nature of the product, unless faulty we cannot accept returns on opened markers or used paper pads returned.

Digital Goods: 

The "Birthday Palette" and other digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed.

  • Coverage: The 50% discount applies strictly to accidental damage (e.g., dropping the pen) that renders the nib unusable. It does not cover intentional damage, loss of the pen, theft, or normal wear and tear.
  • The Claim: To activate your discount, you must provide a clear photo of the damaged nib and your original order number to oops@yourstore.com.
  • Limitations: This discount is valid for a one-time replacement per pen purchased and applies only to the cost of the replacement nib unit. It cannot be combined with other promotional codes or used for full pen replacements.

Why Currently Pouring is different from the Tasting Menu

The build-your-own Tasting Menu draws from a permanent, curated pool of inks chosen to teach core ink properties — it's always there, and it's designed to be a reliable reference point. Currently Pouring is the opposite kind of product: a fixed, changing snapshot of what's new and interesting in the ink world right now. Every quarter we choose four inks that didn't exist, or weren't widely available, the quarter before — often pulled from limited seasonal releases, new small-batch makers, or colours that sell out before they ever reach a permanent range. If an ink in Currently Pouring is popular enough and stays in continuous production, it may eventually graduate into the permanent Tasting Menu pool — but Currently Pouring itself is never a repeat of last quarter.

This season — Summer 2026

This quarter's Currently Pouring kit is built around the individual 50ml release of the Diamine Inkvent 2025 Teal Edition — inks that were exclusive to last December's 25-day advent calendar and are only now becoming available as standalone bottles. We've picked four that best represent the range Diamine introduced this year, including their new waterproof pigment formulation, which hasn't appeared in a Diamine seasonal release before.

Honest Note:

This product listing must be actively refreshed every quarter — it is not a 'set and forget' SKU. When the season's stock sells out, update the seasonal section, the four vial contents, and the 'this season' copy before relisting, rather than simply marking it back in stock with old contents. Carousel and other new pigment-format Inkvent inks are newly introduced formulations — confirm fountain pen safety guidance from Diamine before including any pigment ink in a vial intended for fountain pen sampling, since pigment inks generally need more flushing than dye inks.
