30-Day Change of Mind:

We offer a 30-day return window (exceeding the UK legal minimum of 14 days). Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in "as-new" condition.

Faulty Goods:

In the rare event of a defect, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement within 30 days. We will cover all return shipping costs for faulty items.

Defective Nibs:

Occasionally, a pen may arrive dry or a nib maybe scratchy. Contact us within 7 days of purchase with a photo/video of the issue and we will send a replacement immediately.

Exclusions:

Due to the nature of the product, unless faulty we cannot accept returns on opened markers or used paper pads returned.

Digital Goods:

The "Birthday Palette" and other digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed.

Coverage: The 50% discount applies strictly to accidental damage (e.g., dropping the pen) that renders the nib unusable. It does not cover intentional damage, loss of the pen, theft, or normal wear and tear.

A sketching kit in one case

Everything you need for a line-and-wash sketch is in the box. Draw in pen, let the line dry, then fill the BrusH2O with water and paint straight from the pans. The water brush holds water in its barrel, so you squeeze it gently to wet the brush and wipe it clean on a tissue between colours. When you’re done, the case closes and goes back in your pocket.

The colours
White, black, red, rose madder, cadmium yellow, lemon yellow, burnt sienna, raw umber deep, natural beige, sap green light, cobalt blue, ultramarine, cobalt violet and grey. It’s a different selection from the 12 Colour Set. The greys, beige and umber make it well suited to buildings, streets and stone, the everyday subjects of urban sketching

Honest Note:

The pans are smaller than in our full-size Gansai sets, so your most-used colours will run out sooner. The water brush is ideal for small sketches. For large washes, a proper round brush and a water cup give more control. The Mangaka 01 is a fine pen, good for detail. If you like a bolder line, add a second pen in a larger size. And like all Gansai, the colours lift if you rework them, so plan your layers rather than glazing over and over.Gansai is not a transparent watercolour in the Western sense — the colours sit more on the surface and lift more readily when you glaze over them. That is a strength for illustration and dark paper, but if you build many transparent glazes, a Western watercolour may suit better. Granulating sets need plenty of water to separate — used thickly they behave like ordinary colour, and the effect varies with your paper. Starry and Granulating are effect sets: they work best alongside the 12 Colour Set, not instead of it.
