We know art supplies are fragile. All professional pair and boards are shipped in reinforced rigid flat mailers. No tubes, no folds, no crushed corners.

Returns

30-Day Change of Mind: 

We offer a 30-day return window (exceeding the UK legal minimum of 14 days). Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in "as-new" condition.

Faulty Goods: 

In the rare event of a defect, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement within 30 days. We will cover all return shipping costs for faulty items.

Defective Nibs: 

Occasionally, a pen may arrive dry or a nib maybe scratchy. Contact us within 7 days of purchase with a photo/video of the issue and we will send a replacement immediately.

Exclusions:

Due to the nature of the product, unless faulty we cannot accept returns on opened markers or used paper pads returned.

Digital Goods: 

The "Birthday Palette" and other digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed.

The Korean Literature series and what makes it different
The World Literature series references books from around the world. The Korean Literature series is different — it references works of Korean female writers from the modern era, and the colour choices reflect a specifically Korean cultural sensibility about colour, atmosphere, and the natural world. 7 Coloured Ocean references the idea of a sea that contains all colours within its apparent blue — a depth that reveals more the longer you look. The red sheen is the hidden colour at the surface.

Honest Note:

Dye-based — not waterproof. Vivid red sheen requires slow-absorbing paper (Tomoe River especially) and medium+ nib. On fast paper or fine nibs, sheen will be minimal or absent. Safe in all fountain pens. The Korean Literature series references works that may be less familiar to UK buyers than the World Literature range — include a brief note on the product page explaining the cultural context and linking to the Korean Literature series collection.

How does the red sheen look on the page?

On Tomoe River paper with a medium or broader nib, the red sheen is vivid and visible at a slight angle — the blue writing becomes an iridescent blue-red under raking light. In direct overhead light the base blue is dominant. The sheen is most dramatic under a desk lamp held to the side.

Is this part of the same series as Wearingeul Dracula and Metamorphosis?

No — those are from the World Literature series. 7 Coloured Ocean is from the Korean Literature series, which references works of Korean female writers. Both series are by Wearingeul but have different cultural references and target different aspects of the brand's identity.

Can I use this for illustration?

For expressive, colour-focused illustration where the blue and sheen are part of the work — yes. It is not waterproof, so do not use it under wash. For a blue illustration ink that tolerates wash, use Kakimori Ocean Blue or De Atramentis Document Blue instead.
