Built to Solve a Specific, Annoying Problem
Yoke Nib & Pen Wipes were developed directly out of frustration with ordinary cloths and tissues shedding lint onto fine pointed pen nibs — a particular nuisance for calligraphers working with delicate tines. The wipe is made from the same extremely low-particulate fabric used in clean room environments such as operating theatres and computer labs, meaning it doesn't deposit fibres onto the nib or, critically, into a shared inkwell. The ink absorbs into the middle of the wipe rather than smearing across the surface, so the visible side stays usable for repeated wipes rather than becoming a dirty rag after one use.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUSTIONS (FAQ)
Why not just use a paper towel or tissue?
Ordinary paper towels and tissues shed small fibres that can stick to a fine nib or end up in your inkwell, which is exactly the problem this wipe was developed to solve. The fabric is the same low-particulate material used in clean room environments.
Can these be washed and reused?
Yes — ink absorbs into the centre of the wipe rather than sitting on the surface, so the wipe stays usable across a session, and the set is designed for repeated use rather than single-use disposal.
Will this work with acrylic or pigment inks, not just water-based?
The wipe is developed specifically for water-based inks but is also solvent safe, so it can be used more broadly, though water-based ink performance is its primary design focus.
